Pasupathy (Tamil: பசுபதி) is an Indian film actor. He has appeared in several critically acclaimed roles in many noted Tamil films, essaying supporting, antagonistic, comedic as well as protagonistic roles.
Pasupathy Ramasamy Naidu, born in 1968 near Maduravoyal, a suburb of Chennai, India, is a theatre artist by profession who fine-tuned his acting skills through the famous acting school "Koothu-P-Pattarai" based in Chennai.
He got his first major recognized role in Virumaandi as (Kothaala Thevar) and Kannathil Muthamittal where he played an LTTE freedom fighter. He later began appearing in negative roles in a number of films such as Dhool, Virumaandi, Thirupaachi. He later branched out into comedy with Mumbai Express and Majaa. His first lead role was in the National Film Award winning film Veyyil. He later received several other supporing and lead roles in the films Raman Thediya Seethai and Kuselan.
